The Sign of a New Image at St. Cloud Parks and Recreation!
St. Cloud Parks and Recreation wanted to put new, attractive and more easily readable signs on their recreation buildings near the St. Cloud Aquatics Center. We just helped them design a new logo, which you can see here, and helped them create attractive signage to go with their new look!
Using the new logo we constructed 3 signs for their buildings using 6mm Di-Bond Aluminum panels. Di-Bond is made of 2 layers of aluminum, sandwiching a core of plastic. It is durable and great for outdoor applications. The signs were printed on our HP 500 Flatbed Printer and then we used a large format CNC computer controlled router to cut them to their final shape.
The Signs were attached with industrial strength double-sided foam tape and then further anchored with stainless steel sheet metal screws. We then used chrome screw caps to give the sign a more polished look rather than leave the Phillip head screws exposed. The signs are printed with “UV-Ink” that is cured by UV light. This same light that fades many signs, actually strengthens the UV-inks we use. These signs will be good for many years of service!
All of the new digital sign technologies make it easy for PIP Signworks to quickly produce your professional and quality signage for nearly all indoor and outdoor uses. We are also a full service printer and web developer with most of our production done in house so we stay in control and guarantee the quality of our jobs!
